Delivery and Returns

Delivery lead times

The estimated lead time in working days (exclusive of weekends and bank holidays) is displayed on the product description page. Lead times are an estimate only and cannot be guaranteed.

In some circumstances it may be possible to expedite the delivery of your order. If you require an express delivery please contact us prior to placing your order and we will investigate this for you. Extra delivery costs may be incured for express delivery.

Delivery status

To check the status of your order, please login and go to the ‘My Orders’ page. Please contact us if your order has not been delivered within the quoted lead time

Delivery charges

The majority of our products featured on Briggs Store come with free delivery to UK mainland locations. Deliveries to non-mainland UK locations will incur an additional charge which will be notified to you before the dispatch of your order.

Deliveries outside the UK

Please contact our support team on 0800 021 7820 for advice. An additional delivery charge will apply. Please note we do not ship any products outside of the European Union (EU)

Delivery address

Please note we require a physical business address to ship to. We do not accept PO boxes or home addresses as valid shipping addresses. All our orders are delivered by courier and need to be signed for. We normally ask for a delivery contact and telephone number to ensure that orders arrive safely. We accept no liability for loss of orders that go missing due to a wrong address being given. In such circumstances the full cost including delivery will be charged.

Returns of damaged / faulty goods

Most of our products are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty covering faulty materials or workmanship but do not cover general wear and tear, misuse or damage. In the event the product has arrived in less than full working condition please contact us in writing at store@briggsequipment.co.uk within 5 working days quoting your order reference number.

In order to avoid unnecessary returns please make sure you have followed all the manufacturer’s instructions before contacting us. If you are unsure please contact our customer service team for advice.

In the event the product has arrived damaged please notify us via email at store@briggsequipment.co.uk. You must supply an endorsed carrier’s note and any additional evidence of damage when issuing a claim.   

Upon receipt of your request we will contact you to discuss the order and depending on the circumstances arrange collection or request return. The product must be returned in the original packaging to avoid further deterioration during transport. The product will normally need to be checked before we issue a refund or despatch a replacement.

Returns of incorrect Items

Please make sure you check the specification of products before you order them.  In the event you order an incorrect item please notify us immediately. Items returned to us without our prior agreement will be refused and you will be liable for all costs.

If agreed by us in writing, products may be returned to us within 5 working days of the original delivery. Products must be returned unused and within the original packaging. You must pay all transport costs including the original delivery fee. We reserve the right to refuse the return of certain products and to charge an administration fee to cover our costs.
