Do prices quoted include VAT and delivery?
All prices quoted on this site exclude VAT and delivery. VAT at the prevailing rate and any delivery charges will be added to your order at checkout. Please note we charge extra for orders to non UK mainland destinations. You will be informed of any additional charges applicable on receipt of your order and prior to shipment.

What types of payment do you except?
We accept most major credit cards including Visa and Mastercard.

Alternatively you can apply for a customer account with Briggs Equipment by completing the Credit Account Application Form. This information must be checked and approved by our credit control department before any goods will be dispatched. Depending on your credit rating we may not be able to provide credit in which case you will be asked to pay by credit card or cheque.

What does P.O.A. mean?
P.O.A. means Price on Application and is displayed on certain products which due to their nature require a site survey or other check by Briggs Equipment to ensure that the correct specification and cost is quoted for your needs. Please use the ‘Contact us’ form to request further information.

How can I be sure of the quality of products on Briggs Store? is run by Briggs Equipment UK Ltd, one of the UK’s leading suppliers of materials handling equipment with extensive experience in providing cost effective solutions for all types of business. We endeavour through our preferred supplier arrangements to ensure the products we supply are of the highest quality. All our suppliers are UK based and are vetted for the product quality, processes and support. What is the lead time?
The estimated lead time in working days (exclusive of weekends and bank holidays) is displayed on the product description page. You can check the status of your order once you have logged in. The lead times shown are an estimate only and are not guaranteed due to factors outside our control. Please contact us if you need an item quickly.

What is the minimum order value?
We do not have a minimum order value.

Is your Call Centre based in the UK?
Yes, we are a UK based company. Our customer service team is based in Haydock, Cheshire and the team receives extensive training to give customers the highest standards of support.

I have a promotional discount code, how do I redeem it?
Promotional discounts are redeemed at checkout. Simply go to your basket and under your saved product list enter your promotional code number into the field supplied. The value of the discount will be removed from the total order value at checkout.

Can I purchase products from Briggs Store from outside the UK?
Please contact us prior to placing your order. Some product items can be shipped subject to a delivery charge to other European locations, however, non UK deliveries are not always available and we do not ship any products outside the EU.

Can I place an order by cheque?
Yes, we except cheque payment from UK based companies. Please contact us to confirm your order details and receive further instructions. Your order will be held until we receive payment and funds have cleared. Alternatively you can apply for a credit account via the Login / register screen.

Are payments via the site secure?

I have placed an order but not received delivery, what do I do?

If your personal or company details have changed please login and update your account via the ‘Update My Details’ page. It is particularly important to keep your email address up to date as we use this notify you of order status.

Can a colleague use my login details?
You will be held responsible for any order placed with your registered details. If someone else in your organisation wishes to order products from the site, unless you are happy to be accountable for orders placed, please ask them to register separately.
